The Birds

Colombia has the largest bird list of any country in the world, with over 1850 recorded species! (Download the Colombia bird check-list HERE. Besides the diverse general avifauna, Colombia also harbors a wealth of rare and range-restricted birds, placing us at No. 3 in number of endemic species in the Neotropics.

Here is a list of Colombian endemics (in bold those species we are able to spot in OUR CURRENT trips!), where remarks about where to watch them on our tours, as well as general info and pictures will be added later in the future for selected species. You will find this segment of our website useful and, for sure, enjoyable. Keep checking this page for recently added information on several species.
